Autismness ABA Services

How our Process Works

We understand that your child’s autism diagnosis may feel overwhelming and unfamiliar. At Autismness ABA, we are dedicated to supporting you and your family every step of the way as you navigate this journey. Through our ABA therapy, your child will develop essential skills to grow, communicate, and achieve greater independence. As a parent or caregiver, we will empower you with practical tools and strategies to meet your child’s unique needs with confidence.

When you decide to start ABA therapy for your child, the following process will outline the path forward:

1.

Completion of Client Intake Packet

You will complete your child's intake packet, providing us with all the necessary information to help set your child on the path to success.

4.

BCBA Performs an Assessment of the Client and Caregivers

A Board-Certified Behavior Analyst will conduct an assessment to establish a foundation for services customized to your child's unique needs, as well as your goals and concerns for their development.

2.

ABA Insurance Benefit Verification

We will collaborate with you and your insurance provider to confirm coverage and advocate for your child, ensuring they receive all the essential services they need to thrive.

5.

BCBA Completes Individualized Treatment Plan

Following the assessment, your child's Individualized Treatment Plan (ITP) will be developed with careful consideration. The BCBA will address all your concerns as a parent and ensure the plan is tailored to your child's specific needs. As your child grows and their skills and needs change, the ITP may be adjusted to reflect their progress.

3.

Tour Our Facility

We will guide you and your family on a tour of the facility where your child will receive treatment. This visit allows your child to familiarize themselves with their new environment and provides an opportunity for any family member to ask questions about our center and services.

6.

Treatment Begins

Your child will begin treatment, working closely with their BCBA and behavior technician to receive the personalized services they need.

In-Clinic

In-clinic Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy involves providing ABA services in a controlled clinical setting designed to optimize learning and skill development. This environment allows for structured sessions with minimal distractions, enabling focused interventions to address behavioral, social, and developmental goals. Therapists use evidence-based techniques tailored to the individual’s needs, often incorporating specialized tools and resources available in the clinic. This setting also provides opportunities for peer interaction, group activities, and consistent oversight by a team of professionals.

In-School

In-school Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy involves implementing ABA strategies within a school setting to support a student's learning, behavior, and social development. This approach is tailored to the unique needs of the student and focuses on enhancing their ability to succeed in an educational environment. ABA therapists collaborate with teachers, school staff, and parents to create and reinforce strategies that promote positive behavior, academic skills, and peer interactions, ensuring consistency between school and other environments.

In-Home

In-home Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy involves delivering ABA services in the comfort of a client’s home environment. This approach focuses on teaching skills, improving behavior, and addressing specific challenges in a familiar setting where the individual feels most comfortable. Therapists work directly with the individual, family members, and caregivers to develop personalized strategies, ensuring skills learned are practical and can be easily applied to daily life.

Telehealth

Telehealth Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy involves delivering ABA services remotely through secure video conferencing platforms. This approach allows therapists to provide guidance, training, and support to individuals, parents, or caregivers in real-time, regardless of their location. Telehealth ABA may include parent training, progress monitoring, and skill-building sessions, tailored to the individual's goals and needs. It offers a flexible and accessible way to ensure continuity of care while maintaining the same evidence-based practices used in traditional in-person settings.
